These stair treads have exceeded my expectations. They’re so pretty and soft underfoot .. like a nice carpeting. They were easy to install.. no measuring or anything. You can eyeball them and put them on. They lift easily to reposition.. They have a sticky back that was a little tricky to remove the film completely, but if you pull slowly and at a slight angle it’s no problem. They don’t actually stick on your floor with an adhesive. It’s just a very sticky silicone like surface that grips the floor.. There’s no curling on the corners and most importantly, the reason I bought them was for my two senior dogs to make it easier for them to go up and down the stairs and it really has. They move much more quickly up and down now without any hesitation. Honestly these stair treads are really, very nice. I was surprised at how much I like them, I’ve had bare wood floor stairs for 15 years and I like these carpet treads better. If you’re on the fence about buying these, don’t be! I did alot of shopping online and read reviews and finally settled on these and I’m very happy and so are my pups!
